KATIE HAS:

* Supreme bed head (like, award-level shit)

* A fancy, commercial-grade juicer (which she mostly uses to make margaritas)

* An insatiable appetite for donuts (and Justin Timberlake)

* A birthmark shaped like Africa (which she covered with a regrettable tramp-stamp)

* A habit of buying really healthy food (and then letting it spoil before she can eat it)

* Produced, written, and starred in a feature film (about nudists)

* A talent for comedic rapping (and rhyming things with Hallsack)

* This website, which she thinks you'll enjoy, so take a look around! Stay awhile ;-)

Even though Katie feels like the above bullet-point-game is the best way to get to know her, she also feels like she's supposed to say certain backstory-type stuff...so if you want to learn more, keep reading...

A proud Chicago native, Katie decided to keep it local and attend Northwestern University. Two years in, she chose to trade in her Division I hockey scholarship for a degree in theatre and film (insert parents' cries here)! It was the best/scariest decision she ever made, and - after graduating from Northwestern - she began her pursuit in comedy, studying at Second City, Comedysportz, iO, and eventually landing at The Groundlings in Los Angeles.

Some of Katie's commercial credits include a Bojangles commercial campaign [shooting 4 spots as their Master Biscuit Maker (one alongside golfing great Bubba Watson)], as well as spots for Walmart, Samsung, NY Life, NFL, The General, and more.

Some movie credits include: Act Naturally (the first feature film that she co-wrote, co-produced and starred in - currently streaming on Amazon Prime and Tubi), supporting roles in Go For It [opposite Aimee Garcia (of Dexter), distributed by Lionsgate], This Is Now [opposite Alicia Minshew (of All My Children), Nadia Bjorlin (of Days of Our Lives), and Luis Moncada (of Breaking Bad), and Lore: Deadly Obsession. She can also be seen playing ‘Faithful Companion’ (a wannabe superhero and dedicated sidekick) in Super Group Therapy, and she’s currently developing a comedic Vegan cooking show. She’s a firm believer that animals are here with us, not for us, and she’s thrilled to share how easy (and delicious!) vegan cooking can be.

Katie's work as an actress and comic has been selected for the Telly Awards, Hugo Awards, Addy Awards, the Midwest Independent Film Festival, the Breckenridge Film Festival, and numerous United Film Festivals.

Katie/MC Hallsack is ready to shoot a music video for her first original rap "Tuck Yo Sack Back"! She's in the process of hiring a creative team to make it RIDICULOUS, so check back soon for a new music video!
